Cedar Electronics Made a Debut at the National Tour Exhibition of Achievements in Scientific and Technological Innovation during the 13th Five-year Plan Period with its First Mini-LED Direct Display UHD 4K TV 

　　From November 16 to 19, 2022, the 10th China (Mianyang) Science and Technology City International High-tech Expo commenced in Mianyang, Sichuan under the theme of “Science and Technology Leading, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Win-win Cooperation”. At the Expo, the National Tour Exhibition of Achievements in Scientific and Technological Innovation during the 13th Five-year Plan Period was held in the exhibition area for the Ministry of Science and Technology. Sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Tour Exhibition of Achievements in Scientific and Technological Innovation during the 13th Five-year Plan Period aimed to strengthen the publicity of the achievements in scientific and technological innovation, promote the transformation, application, popularization and demonstration of these achievements, showcase in a concentrated manner the positive progresses made by the MOST in applying new development concepts, further implementing the innovation-driven development strategy, vigorously promoting the development of high and new technologies, and making more efforts to tackle key and core technologies, thus showing China’s major achievements in scientific and technological innovation during the 13th Five-Year Plan period and the “Chinese Power” in scientific and technological innovation to the world.     

　　As a global leader in the field of COB display with mini pixel pitch and the subject for industrialization under “Hongguang Program” of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Changchun Cedar Electronics was previously awarded as an Excellent Project Team under the “13th Five-year Plan” and an Excellent Project Principal on the first “13th Five-year Plan” Road Show organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and invited as a guest to attend the Expo and deliver its achievements. For the achievement, breakthroughs are made in the full set of technologies and processes for luminous chips, driving devices, integrated encapsulation, uniformity control and the complete machine integration to allow for completely made-in-China and controller batch production and industrialized application of core raw materials, components and parts; based on the flip chip COB integrated encapsulation process and core patented technology for pixel enhancing, the product is featured by super high pixel density, high definition, high reliability, high brightness, high contract and high cost performance, and meets the need of visual experience for display terminals with ultra-high definition, ultra-high resolution and large size. Currently, Cedar has established the supporting industrial chain based on the flip chip COB integrated encapsulation, completed the development of 75’’, 85’’, 98’’ and 120’’ series products and had capability for mass production. The product has been released ahead of international LED display giants such as Samsung and Sony, with full set of technologies reaching the international leading level. It demonstrates the pride of China by the hard power in science and technology.
