2021 International Conference on Display Technology Coming to a Successful Conclusion, and Cedar Electronics Appearing with a Multi-scene Solution

From May 31 to June 2, 2021 International Conference on Display Technology (ICDT) was held in Beijing Etrong International Exhibition & Convention Center. The conference was co-sponsored by Society for Information Display (SID China), “Strategically Advanced Electronic Materials” Expert Group of Ministry of Science and Technology and Fuzhou University. P0.47mm flip chip COB integrated package ultra-high density LED display screen is the symbolic achievement of “Key Technology Development and Application Demonstration of Ultra-high Density Micro-pitch LED Display” project of the “13th Five-Year Plan” National Key R&D Program undertaken by Cedar Electronics, which is the product-level LED display screen with the smallest pixel pitch. It represents the breakthrough of Cedar in UHD micro-pitch display in China.

At the award ceremony of ICDT, the “flip chip COB integrated package ultra-high density LED display screen with pixel pitch of 0.47mm” won the Best Innovative Display of Year 2020, depending on its strong technical strength. This award is a testament to Cedar Electronics’ leading technology strength, outstanding innovation ability and strong technology transformation capabilities.

Cedar’s new generation of Obsidian Series products based on flip chip COB technology has greatly improved its surface blackness, ink consistency, contrast, and protective performance of superficial hardness tester while maintaining the high level performance of the original full series of flip chip COB products, which is the healthy and comfortable soft light screen that is the most suitable for professional command center and other high-end indoor scenes. The new product has been proved reliable, and its indexes and product performance are superior to similar products in the market. Now it has entered the stage of mass production and transformation of full range.

The world’s first polarization 3D integrated package film display product based on flip chip LED is compatible with 2D/3D display and meets DCI-P3 cinema gamut standard. It is a milestone for flip chip COB large display products to enter the three-dimensional era.

In addition, Cedar Electronics also pay attention to the scene needs of users in different fields. The professional solutions for 4K high-end home theater were also featured in the exhibition. In the synchronous technical seminar of key special display direction of “new display and strategic electronic materials” in the “14th Five-Year Plan” National Key R&D Program, Ms. Zheng Xifeng, Chairman of Cedar Electronics, was invited to attend and share the prominent result of key special display project of “strategically advanced electronic materials” in the “13th Five-Year Plan” National Key R&D Program - UHD ultrahigh resolution large LED display. Meanwhile, Dr. Wang Yang, Deputy General Manager of Cedar Electronics, was also invited to attend the summit forum hosted by ICDT and delivered a speech titled Solutions to UHD Large Display Facing Family and Commercial Applications, sharing the future development trend and product layout of UHD large display in home and commercial applications.
